I started my aviation journey back in 2019 with Lou Av where I got my Private Pilot License. Lou Av created a good foundation for my career to take off. I have nothing but great things to say about the Lou Av CFIs and flight school environment!
“I started my training at Louisville Aviation in 2018, and I was truly inspired by their exceptional safety culture. It felt like being part of a family throughout my training. Thanks to the foundation I received there, I now fly regional jets for Pacific Southwest Airlines. The training, discipline, and professionalism I developed here prepared me well for the airline world. I carry the values I learned at Louisville Aviation on every flight.”
“I’ve dreamed of becoming a pilot since I was nine years old, and that dream became a reality when I began taking flight lessons at Louisville Aviation when I was sixteen. They guided me through every step of the process and helped me earn all of my certificates and ratings. After completing my training, I became an instructor at Louisville Aviation and was able to pass down my knowledge and experience to the next generation of pilots. My time at Louisville Aviation both as a student and instructor gave me the foundation needed to successfully land my dream job at Delta Air Lines.
Hi there! My name is Jessica Thacker, and I was a Louisville Aviation student before becoming a flight instructor there in 2018. It was a truly unique experience to eventually teach at the same school where I learned to fly. Watching the progression of my coworkers and fellow students was the motivation I needed to keep pushing forward and ultimately earn my wings at United Airlines. Since leaving Louisville Aviation, I have earned my CL-65, Boeing 777, and Boeing 737 type ratings. I am incredibly grateful to Louisville Aviation for the guidance and foundation that helped me achieve my dream job.
